Avoid a potential disaster by checking your AP1 (2000-2003) valve spring retainers and upgrading them to the stronger AP2 (2004-2009) design. Inspect for any damage and replace the retainers and keepers to help insure that extended high-RPM operation does not cause a retainer to crack and a valve to drop.
